The short version

What our hosting provider records

Like every website, our hosting provider (Bluehost, located in the United States) automatically keeps technical server logs: connection address, date and time, page requested, browser and device type, referring page. They are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors. We do not combine them with anything else, use them to identify you, or sell or share them. This means some information is handled outside Quebec.

Our hosting provider's protection against bots may ask your browser to keep a cookie named "humans_" followed by a number, with the value 1, before it lets a request through. It contains no identifier and is the same for every visitor. We never read it or use it.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Person in charge of personal information

The owner of DSI. You can reach that person at contact (at) lootbis.com.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or file a complaint, by writing to contact (at) lootbis.com. We answer within 30 days. You may also contact your privacy authority: in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information; elsewhere in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada; in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
